Each color square differs from it's four neighbors (left, right, above and below) by one shade.

Note: the "Ivory Tower" Human Factors cognitve and perception people say,
"pick a 'weak' blaze background color",
so as to not overpower your viewer and make the content stand out in relief against it!

This also avoids "Shouting" Which is using too much color contrast between the background and the foreground.
