Patrick, Halifax,  Nova Scotia: "Well, I think you have a winner in this package, it works as  well as the shareware versions  (including  the expensive one) with  only a minor  bit of fiddlin'"

wwacht: Just installed your free pdf. I followed directions and it works like a charm

Eric Santos:

Had a little chat with THE Zipguy (yes, the "Intant Message" link works - with voice!), and tried to figure out a peculiar problem I noticed.

JPG's (JPEG) come out in greyscale instead of color! GIF files are okay, though. Seems like the problem came from the Apple printer driver mentioned in the configuration page. I tried changing my printer driver to HP color laserjet PS (just picked this because it mentioned "color" and "PS" which I interpreted as postscript, - nothing scientific :) ) and changed the settings as per instructions on the config page. However, I did leave the "Advanced Postscript Options" set to "Use Postscript Level 2 Features" instead of Level 1. ....

and now it works! JPEGs and GIFs both "print out" in color.

Thanks! Hope this helps other FreePdf users out there...

One last note: don't forget to set your default printer back to printing to your LPT1 port after configuring FreePDF.

Bill Cook: Free PDF is great!!!!
Thanks much for developing it. ,,, it is really slick Bill

ncenginear: Thank you very much for Free PDF! Much cheaper than any of the competitors, and with a little play time, easy to use!

Joseph "Boatswas" Glennon: I've been trying to locate something like this for about 4 years. Thank you very much for doing all this work to get this up and running, and for the updates you've been doing to it. I know that a lot of people may complain because it's not turn-key...but if they want turn-key apps, let 'em pay the $200+. That's not saying that I won't want to be one of the first to install your first turn-key version!

TiTo: I like it a lot. Excellent work.

Rob Hetlam: Installed frPDF without a hitch Will come in very handy for doc distributing Took about a hour of configuring to get it to work on a development machine with custom paths.
